If it is recent, it could be due to the cooler weather, which means we don't sweat as much, which causes connection issues. I have connected my Edge to my fathers Wahoo TICKR and that picks up my heartbeat no problem. The high dollar special "run" metrics used in the 620 is useless without using it with the soft strap. I tend to be a heavy sweater, I'm not sure what else would be relevant. Solution-apply gel. 2.Static electricity (this is to blame for spikes during startup). Back to top #11 chilliman Hot eater, Cool Trail Runner. This only seems to happen during longer workouts, after about an hour when the chest strap becomes soaked with sweat.

I'm not convinced it's a salt issue, I've only used the strap since January and wash it after each use. So I TRIED to replace the battery which made it no longer work period. Learn more about Amazon Prime.
