If it is recent, it could be due to the cooler weather, which means we don't sweat as much, which causes connection issues. I have connected my Edge to my fathers Wahoo TICKR and that picks up my heartbeat no problem. The high dollar special "run" metrics used in the 620 is useless without using it with the soft strap.
