It was a lot of work to get the right piece and now that work is done for anyone that is interested. A screwdriver (either small phillips or a Torx T10) and possibly a small pair of pliers to remove the small plug from the circuit board. The spring mechanism broke where the two posts connect to the pad -- the posts that the screws go in to.

I also took the opportunity to pull a bit of the red wire so that there's more slack near the red drum kit area.   It seemed a little "tight" there. with thisss guys i got these problem .My drums doesnt have the sensivility problem the right cymbal doesent work but i isnt the cymbal it is inside the drums kit or I'm glad I could have helped in some way. I am not knocking that process. not if i hit it softly, hardly.
